The Building Block is especially for kids birth through toddlers. It’s located on the main floor of The Ridge. Our nursery workers are loving volunteers who have a passion for serving the youngest members of The Ridge family. We believe that even the youngest children can begin to explore the wonders of God’s creation.
Parents of Building Block-age children will find a check-in kiosk especially for their use in the main Building Block hallway.
Crosswalk is our Preschool area for older two’s through pre-kindergarten. You can find the main area of Crosswalk to the left at the bottom of the main staircase. There are also some Crosswalk classrooms currently being added to the main floor of The Ridge.
We focus on teaching Bible stories in Crosswalk that help children learn three basic truths:
- God made them
- God loves them
- Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
We firmly believe that an understanding of these concepts sets preschool-aged kids up for a lifetime of serving and loving Christ!

On Sundays, kids in Crosswalk will dive into God’s word in Kerplunk! an interactive large group experience where kids and their leaders sing fun and exciting songs that teach them about God, work to memorize a monthly scripture, and explore a Bible story with the help of one of our zany characters. Ask them to teach these things to you…they’ll be able to do it! They then travel to their classroom where they participate in a wide variety of small group activities that reinforce the concepts and stories they have learned. Games, snacks, crafts and sensory exploration are all a part of the learning experience. |
