What kinds of LifeGroups do you have? Couples groups, Singles groups, Men Only groups, Women Only groups, & Mixed groups in which everyone is welcome.
What are the core components of a LifeGroup? At The Ridge, all LifeGroups are focused on growing in Christ by being in the Word, being in a small group community, being in prayer, and serving together. These are the four essential components for each LifeGroup at the Ridge.
When do LifeGroups meet? We have groups that meet all throughout the week on different days and times.
What do LifeGroups study? The LifeGroup leader works with our LifeGroup Pastor in developing a curriculum that best meets the spiritual needs of his/her group. A wide mix of approved studies, as well as Sunday sermon application questions, are made available for each group to use throughout the season of their LifeGroup.
How long is the season of a LifeGroup? Most LifeGroups meet for a season of approximately 2 years. At the end of the first six months, however, each LifeGroup member will have the ability to switch to a different group if the group is not the right fit.
What is GroupLink? In the past, GroupLink has been our primary connection event for getting people into groups. At GroupLink, participants meet people in similar geographic areas and seasons of life to form new groups. For the Spring of 2012 we are using the first evening of the "Enjoying Life with God" study as the way to get you connected into a LifeGroup.
What if I would like to get connected before the next GroupLink? We would love to connect you with a group immediately, but we have found GroupLink to have a much higher rate of success in matching you with the right group. A strong option to get connected into community sooner is to plug into one of our service teams. We have found these teams to be a great segue into community at the Ridge. Please fill out the form on the Volunteer Service webpage, and we will contact you within a few days.
