The recent invasion of Russia into Ukraine has intensely caught our attention and prayers over the last few weeks. Austin Ridge is monitoring the opportunities to serve Ukrainian refugees through prayer and financial support.

First of all, please pray for:

  • Peace in the region
  • Safety for the vulnerable as they flee the violence
  • Courage for the Body of Christ to love and care for those in need
  • Openness in the hearts of those apart from Christ, that they would seek Him

We have started a Ukraine Relief Fund that will be distibuted in the coming weeks to Ridge Mission's partners in the affected areas. Click below to donate and thank you for your generosity!

Ukraine Updates

Ridge Missions is working with some of our existing relationships on the ground in the affected region. Click the links below for more information to see how they are serving those in need beyond our borders.

John & Mary Henderson (
Cru)— John and Mary are longtime supported workers through Austin Ridge. Although part of our Ridge family locally, John serves on the Leadership Development Team for all of CRU’s Eastern Europe leadership team. John travels regularly to Eastern Europe, including the Ukraine. He has invested many years of his life with these Ukrainian and Eastern European leaders and knows them well.

Mike & Kristen Krieg (Storyline Missions)  Mike and Kristen are longtime supported missions workers from the Ridge, who also attend the Ridge at our SW campus. Mike is the Executive Director at Storyline. Storyline has a major presence in the Ukraine, partnering with a nationwide network of churches to mobilize and send Ukrainian mission workers throughout the region.

Andrei  He is a native Ukrainian pastor in a young, growing church in Vinnytsia. Andrey is currently in Poland caring for many of the vulnerable members in his congregation, as well as many of his countrymen crossing the border.

Samaritan's Purse — Our primary international disaster relief partner, Samaritan’s Purse has disaster response specialists on the ground in the region and has set up an emergency field hospital in western Ukraine.

Novo — One of our newer partners is the disciple-making org, NOVO. A small group of us visited many of their leaders in Egypt back in November and have quickly become fans of these people and the work they do. They have teams all over the world, including Ukraine.

John Peays (Water Mission) — John is the Director of Global Partnerships for Water Mission. His family attends our DS campus. John recently returned from eastern Poland where he worked closely with Samaritan’s Purse (where he worked for 10 years) to help get Water Mission’s Disaster Response team in place as they serve refugees streaming out of Ukraine.
