WOMEN OF CARE AT AUSTIN RIDGE EXISTS TO MEET THE SPIRITUAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS OF THE WOMEN IN OUR CHURCH.

Our mentors provide support through one-on-one caring relationships that allow women to be heard as they process their circumstances and struggles. Women receive support through prayer, guidance to view their lives through the lens of Scripture, and encouragement toward greater dependency upon Jesus. We also provide referrals to professional or appropriate agents of care for those who may seek or need help beyond the scope of our ministry. The Women of Care function on a voluntary basis, and should not be considered a professional counseling service.

To contact the Women of Care ministry, please complete our Contact Form, and a Care member will call or email you. Requests for information are strictly confidential.

    Sunni Larsen

Sunni is a native Texan and graduate of Baylor University, where she earned her BA and MS in Psychology. After practicing as a licensed counselor for over 15 years, she pursued training to be a Certified Life Coach. Sunni met Chris while at Baylor, and they have two adult children, a son who married his high school sweetheart and still lives in the Pacific Northwest, and a daughter who recently graduated from Baylor University and is living in Waco.

Sunni has served alongside Chris at every church they have been a part of in Louisiana, Texas, and Washington. Sunni is thrilled to be back home in Texas, serving at Austin Ridge. She is passionate about people’s stories and the beauty and purpose God can bring in every season of life. She is eager to invest in and care for women at the Ridge, helping them find fullness and freedom in the person of Christ and His Word. Sunni loves the Texas sunshine, running, baking, enjoying a meal with family and friends, and sharing in meaningful conversation at one of the many great coffeehouses in Austin.
