LUKE & ACTS – The Walk on Wednesday
Wednesdays, Sept 8 – Nov 17 | 9:30-11:30 am | Bldg A, Bee Cave
There is a virtual option available as well.
Studying the cohesive story of Jesus and the early church with the Gospel of Luke in the fall and Acts in the spring. Luke-Acts gives us one of the most unified stories of Jesus’ life and ministry, and it doesn’t end there. The early church was messy and imperfect but an exciting time for believers scattered in different places trying to figure out how to live as followers of Jesus. This study equips women to know the overarching storyline of the Bible. Children’s program available. Weekly homework, small group discussion, and live teaching. No previous Bible study experience is necessary.
1 & 2 THESSALONIANS – Precept
Wednesdays, beginning Sept 8 | 9:30-11:30 am | Bldg A-Lower Level, Bee Cave
Precept is a hands-on, inductive Bible study approach. The study of 1 Thessalonians reveals to us sanctification, living through opposition and tribulation so that we can walk in a manner worthy and be blameless at the coming of the Lord. In 2 Thessalonians Paul encourages us to keep persevering amidst affliction, that the day of the Lord had not yet come, and to quietly complete the work God has given to each of us. There will be daily homework, small group discussion and teaching. Children’s program is available. No Bible study experience is needed.
ACTS – Precept
Thursdays, beginning Sept 9 | 6:30-8:30 pm | Bldg D-301, Bee Cave
In Acts, learn how God spread the gospel through witnesses of Jesus’ death and resurrection, and how you too can witness to others. Come and be encouraged by the results of faithful servants holding forth truth in a dark world. Whether you are new to inductive Bible study or are familiar with the method, you will be digging deep into God’s Word with this hands-on study. There will be daily homework, small group discussion, and video teaching.

DISCIPLE-MAKING GROUPS (D-GROUPS)
If you want to go deeper in your faith, consider that the way to grow is to “go.” “Go and make disciples” (Matthew 28: 18-20). We believe that every Christ-follower has the potential to do this!
What Does it Look Like?
Disciple-making groups (D-Groups) train and equip followers of Jesus to multiply their life and make a spiritual difference. Women’s D-Groups are small on purpose (4-6 women) and designed to be relational and practical. The curriculum integrates the study of God’s Word and theology to help you live out what you believe. It will deepen your understanding of who God is and what following Him looks like.
Level of Commitment
Disciple-making groups provide a unique environment for spiritual growth at Austin Ridge. These groups require a high level of commitment as your group meets consistently for 9 to 12 months. If you’re interested, you can sign up HERE. If you have questions, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
