At our upcoming Men’s breakfast, we will be joined by Gary Runn. He has 40+ years of leadership development experience. He will help us assess if we are a "Leader at Risk” in our spheres of influence. Gary will share some warning signs and what we should do about them.

Gary, born in Wichita, Kansas, and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, holds a bachelor's degree in finance and a master's in business administration from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, and a doctoral degree in organizational leadership and team effectiveness from Bethel University in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

He developed a passion for leadership development through serving with Cru in the U.S. and Western Europe. He has led individuals and teams into diverse settings around the world, developing leaders and teams through coaching, consulting, and mentoring. He also actively designs and implements emerging and established leadership development initiatives through principled teaching, interactive learning, and practical application.

Gary has been an Austin Ridge Bible Church partner since 2011, where his wife Carrie also serves as the Women's Ministry Director. They have two adult children—Courtney, who lives and works in New York City, and Davis, who lives and works in Jacksonville, Florida.
