We are so excited to take a group of middle schoolers on a mission trip AGAIn this summer!
Ridge Students is partnering with Global Gates to complete a short-term mission trip in Houston. This trip will introduce students to the concept of God’s heart for the nations, and bringing the gospel to unreached people groups with a concentrated time of evangelism training and exposure to world religions. Students will also engage with the community to pray for the lost and spread the gospel.
We are finalizing the trip dates and cost. In addition to the summer trip, there will be monthly training to prepare for the mission trip beginning in April. Students in grades 6-8 (2025-2026 school year) are encouraged to apply! For further information, please check out the Houston Mission Trip FAQ.

Grace grew up in Austin and attended the Ridge with her family. Though she loved her time here as a student, Grace never thought she would be working at Austin Ridge! Grace is passionate about students having a personal relationship with Jesus and hopes to be just a small part of that life-long journey. She is happily married to her best friend Tim, and they love living out in the Hill Country together. When not hanging with students, Grace is finding new coffee shops, loving on her pets Hank and Frankie, catching up with friends or attempting to beat her husband at pickleball.

Kenrick is all about inspiring the next generation to chase after Jesus with everything they’ve got! Born and raised in Austin, Texas, he had a life-changing encounter with the Lord at a youth camp when he was 16, and he’s never looked back. After graduating from Moody Bible Institute, he jumped into student and outdoor ministry, where he’s been pouring into young lives for over six years. Whether he’s climbing, backpacking, or diving into a great book about Jesus, Kenrick brings energy and passion to everything he does. He and his amazing wife, Karis, are on a mission to serve the Highland Lakes region, helping students grow in faith and live out their calling.
