Book Club Thursdays | June 4, 11, 18, 25 | 6:30-8pm | Bldg A, Bee Cave Campus

Gather with women of all ages for thoughtful conversation and connection around a meaningful book. It’s a simple, welcoming way to build friendships and grow in your faith.

  • THE LIE YOU DON'T KNOW YOU BELIEVE | Most of us have been living inside a lie for so long that it feels like the truth. It has quietly shaped our identity, our relationships, and even how we see God. At the center of this book is a powerful idea: most of our struggles trace back to one core lie we've unknowingly believed—I'm helpless, I'm worthless, or I'm unlovable. This book helps you identify that story, understand how it took root, and replace it with biblical truth so you can experience real, lasting freedom.

  • RELAXED | We often try to do a lot for God--without him. Relaxed is a call to let go of spiritual performance, reject our cultural tendency to live under pressure, and find freedom to walk with God and toward God, one gentle step at a time. As Megan takes us word by word through Proverbs 3:5-6, she helps us discover:
    • What God calls us to do with the burden of shame and guilt
    • The freedom and forgiveness of being found "in Christ"
    • How to incorporate rhythms of walking with God into our everyday routines

  • EVEN BETTER THAN EDEN | Are you interested in learning more about how the whole story of Scripture changes everything about your story? This book traces nine themes from Genesis to Revelation to reveal a better future and transform our personal struggles today. In a conversational way, the author traces The Story of the Wilderness: exploring God's provision in dry places and the journey toward a better home, The Story of a Dwelling Place: The evolution from the Tabernacle/Temple to God dwelling directly among His people, The Story of Sabbath: The transition from a rest that was broken to the eternal, superior rest of the new creation and more.

It is Laura’s great joy to have fun serving people, which is what she is doing as a ministry assistant for Embrace and Women's Ministries.
