Tyler grew up attending church but struggled to believe Jesus loved him and wanted a personal relationship with him. As he entered college and later joined the Marine Corps, he struggled with personal identity and his faith, and eventually lost his scholarship due to an alcohol-related incident.

As Tyler began trying to rebuild his life, he learned the limitlessness of God and His ability to control all circumstances. When he began attending Bible study and regularly reading the Word of God, he was drawn toward the life of Paul, who went from persecuting Christians to telling others about God’s transformation in his life. Tyler was ready to surrender to a daily dependence on the Lord and committed to letting Him radically change his life.

“Rebuilding to me means letting God work in your life and letting Him build things in your life that He promises He’s going to do and knowing He will do it.”
