King or Convenience
King or Convenience
We loved worshipping with you this weekend! At Bee Cave, Matt Thigpen continued in 1 Samuel 7-8. Matt challenged us to see the passages as a mirror into our own lives, asking us to examine our hearts and our dependence on God. Too often we only seek God when life falls apart, when our plans fail, or when we need Him to fight our battles. But the real question is: do we truly want God to reign as King over every area of our lives, or do we only want His help when it’s convenient? Are we surrendering to His authority in every season, or only turning to Him when things aren’t going our way?
