The First Politician

On Sunday, Brad continued in 1 Samuel 9-10, where we looked at Saul’s calling as Israel’s first king and were reminded that God is always at work—even in the ordinary details of life. While people were looking for a king who appeared strong and impressive, God was revealing a bigger truth: no earthly leader can take the place of the one true King, Jesus. The challenge for all of us is to ask who is really ruling our hearts. When we trust God's leadership instead of our own, we can walk confidently knowing He is in control and faithfully directing our steps.
