The Rise and Fall of Men

This week’s message from 1 Samuel 16 reminded us that God often does His greatest work when life takes an unexpected turn. As Samuel grieved Saul’s failure, God was already preparing David, a humble servant with a heart after Him. Brad challenged us to trust God when we can’t see what’s ahead, obey the next step He has revealed, and remember that He values faithfulness and character over appearance or talent. God is always at work, and He delights in using ordinary people—people like us—who are willing to serve Him wholeheartedly.
