The Sound of Peace

Isaiah 9:6 celebrates Jesus as the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace—one whose wisdom, power, love, and calming presence carry us through every circumstance. Because of the cross, we have peace with God, and through trusting Him daily, we can experience the peace of God even in life’s stresses. When God is our center and His glory our aim, His peace steadies our hearts, guides our relationships, and gives us confidence in life and in death.
