Dripping Springs Women's Bible Studies

Come be a part of a life-giving community centered on God's Word!

Join a book club or Bible study this summer! Choose from one of our many options and neighborhood locations.

Being part of a summer group is a great way to get plugged in, know your neighbors, and build community around God's word right where you live. 

Note: Please have your book for the first meeting. It may be purchased at the links provided below or at a retailer of your choice.


STUDIES:

WORTHY (EMBRACING YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST) BY THE DAILY GRACE CO.

When: Tuesdays, 06.10 | 06.17 | 07.08 | 07.15 | 07.22 | 10-11:30am

Where: Dos Lagos Neighborhood  

Worthy is a 4-week study on identity in Christ. It explores the titles we have through our relationship with Jesus: child, heir, slave, and saint. Jesus Christ alone is worthy to bear these titles. In our fallen condition, our only identity is rebellious sin. But, by His grace, Jesus unites us to Himself, covers us in His image, and bestows worth to our fallenness.

BIBLE IN A YEAR BY Kandi gallaty

When:  Tuesday evenings | year-round | 7pm

Where: DS Office Annex

Take a 1-year journey with us as we explore Scripture from Genesis through Revelation. We will walk through key passages of the Bible at a manageable, five-days-per-week pace. You’ll engage with daily devotional content, interactive questions, and Scripture memorization challenges, all designed to grow your relationship with God and your knowledge of Him.

No previous Bible study experience is need to participate, and participants may join the group at any time throughout the year.

    Sheji Woods

    Sheji is a city girl at heart who has roots in Houston and New York City. She graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Marketing. A few years after graduation she moved to Austin to further her business career and met her husband, Jeff. She eventually left her hectic corporate job at a local global technology firm and pursued her passion of deepening her understanding of God, His Word, and His ways through study. She earned her graduate degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. Her heart’s desire is for all to know the love and faithfulness of God. Sheji and Jeff have one adult son, Noah, and one daughter, Trinity Hope, who is already with Jesus. As a Women’s Ministry Director, she loves seeing women transformed by the love of Jesus and the impact it has on others. Sheji also loves traveling to new places, writing, and watching football and basketball games with her two favorite boys.

    Stevie Pierce

    Stevie moved to Texas from Indiana in 2018. Stevie graduated from Indiana University and is a proud HOOSIER! Upon arrival, she met her husband, Josh. Josh and Stevie are now the proud parents of a 5-year-old boy and call Dripping Springs home. Stevie enjoys hosting gatherings, thrifting, making sourdough, and traveling.
